Seasonal Allergies
Allergies
It is allergy season again, which for some of us means dealing with runny nose, watery and bloodshot eyes, sneezing, congestion and itchy skin. How do we deal with the symptoms? There are many conventional treatment options including anti-histamines (Benadryl, Allegra, Claritin), decongestant (Sudafed, Afrin, Allegra-D) or corticosteroid nasal sprays (Flonase, Rhinocort, Nasonex) for your allergies.

Naturopathic medicine offers many non-toxic, safe and effective treatment options for allergies. By focusing on the whole person naturopathic medicine gets to the root cause of the allergies. The treatment protocols involve diet changes, nutritional supplements, herbal remedies, hydrotherapy, homeopathic remedies and changing air filters. Two of my favorite allergy treatments are the Netti Pot and stinging nettles an herbal supplement.

If you are suffering for allergies this season and want to deal with your allergies naturally, call Dr. Larrow to set up your appointment, 415.912.9934.
